This site is for parents and other adults. Children should not use it themselves.

What we collect

• The details you type for a letter: a child's first name, age and short notes (interests, achievements, family names, town). We never ask for surnames, photos or birthdays.
• For a mailed letter only: the name and US mailing address you enter for the envelope. It is shared with our print-and-mail provider (Lob) only to print and mail that letter, and deleted by January 15.
• Your email, if you give it, to send your download link or a saved preview.
• A one-way hash of your internet address, used only to limit free previews per day.
• Payment status from our payment provider. We never receive your card number.

How we use it

Only to write and deliver your letter, answer support requests and prevent abuse. The letter details are sent to an AI service to write the letter. We don't sell data or use it for advertising profiles.

How long we keep it

Letters, their details and order records are deleted after 30 days; for mailed orders, by January 15. Payment records are kept by the payment provider as the law requires.

Your choices

To have a letter deleted sooner, use the support page and include the order number or the email you used.

Analytics and ads

We use basic site analytics and, when we run ads, an advertising tag that counts visits and purchases. It does not receive letter details.
